Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've found myself a new project, just for the fun of it - only that I'm not sure how to describe it, due to vocabulary shortages. You know those... things plastic bags are often closed with? They're of wire and something... else between the two rows of wire and can be bend at will. We've collected quite a heap of them as we use them to close the rubbish bags with, but there are always more than we need. So I decided to make a chain of them because... well, just because. And since a lot of people keep to gift Raffaellos upon us, which neither of us like, I'm planning to hang the Raffaellos on the chain once it's finished.

Silly, I know, but it seemed a good idea two days ago...

So far I have a dozen or so *very* uneven links, but it doesn't really bother me. It's just for fun. I might even put some colour on them - we have a few little bottles of nail polish nobody has used for a decade or so...

Old nail polish makes a pretty good paint. I've used it that way myself, on beads.
