Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

15 of the third batch of meeces now have faces! 10 more to do tomorrow.

My arthritic thumb is acting up so I'll be glad to get back to knitting meeces instead of sewing them up. Hopefully that will help.

I've been doing a quick lurk from time to time and am floored by the increasing numbers of mice. :D

Thanks! Mice apparently breed like rabbits. Who knew? *grins*

The aim is for 100 minimum, but possibly 150 (including the 19 left over from my original mouse-making many years ago). At the moment I have 75 new ones done. Well, 10 still need faces but that shouldn't take me long to do tomorrow. Then I can get on with the next 25.

I'm not going to get the jumper I'm making for my little niece done in time for Christmas, but I've at least finished and wet-blocked the Beloved bonnets I'm making for her and my soon-to-be nephew, so she'll have something from me to open under the tree tomorrow!

I have a lot of things to do today that aren't knitting, but signs point to all I actually want to do is knit.

Well, the jumper will be a nice surprise for her later. At least the bonnets are done. This is a busy time of year, it's hard to fit everything in.

I think everyone who crafts knows that feeling well. Crafting is always more enticing than the things we're supposed to be doing!

I finished the Link hat (brother-in-law) and finally blocked the entrelac runner for my parents. The hat:



I have had a great desire to crochet snowflakes for the last few days but haven't had the time. We've been cooking etc today. Maybe next week.

There's plenty of winter left for making seasonal snowflakes. I'm sure you'll get to them once you have fewer other things you have to get done.

No crafting done today. I've done housework, deliveries and present wrapping - There is more of the latter to be done, but I won't see the people until nearer new year so will do it when I get home tomorrow as it's already 2 am here!
