Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've had a trying day, I was halfway through washing my hair when the hot tap stopped producing water. I thought there was something wrong with the hot water tank, but thankfully it was just the taps and I managed to find a plumber willing to come out on a Sunday, procure new taps, and fit them. So I have working taps again, but it took all morning and half the afternoon to get it sorted. Not the plumber's fault, he was amazing, but finding one in the first place wasn't easy.

Anyway, I still managed to get ten more meeces sewn up and stuffed. Five left to do, but I need to fluff up some more stuffing first.

It was a nightmare day! I had planned to do some writing and wrap presents. No presents wrapped, and only 200 words written, the lowest I've managed in a day this year. Very disappointing. But I have a new plumber who is excellent, so that's a plus. Also rally dinky new bathroom taps, half the size of the old ones. Water actually comes out of them when they're turned on! Heee!

I did get nice new taps out of it though. Call them my early Christmas present to me. I had to pay for them of course, but at least they work.

Wasted time today trying to book in for my Covid booster. In a weird twist, the hospital clinics are only doing vaccinations, not boosters, even for staff, and we are being told to book in to a GP or attend a walk in clinic or whatever. Not just my hospital. Anyway, no one wants to do me because I've had mild allergic reactions to the first 2, which is fair enough. They don't have spare staff to monitor in case of a crisis. (fair enough).

Anyway, hoping to get another few roses done today, but cranky that I wasted time trying to sort it out.

For people who've previously had allergic reactions, even mild ones, I'd think the hospitals should be doing those. It seems irresponsible not to. Hope you get sorted.
