Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've gathered up the nose ends of all 25 meeces, which might not sound like much but it's among the fiddliest stages of making meeces. Tomorrow I can start sewing up and stuffing, except I probably won't because it's the Strictly final... Maybe I can get a few done before the show starts.

I've baked the last batch of Christmas biscuits; the baking part of the GCBF is thus finished. There's a lot of decorating and icing in my immediate future; when that's done there will be a last press photo before Christmas. The final count is 42 sorts of biscuits - I've removed 3 from the list, but even so, I don't think I ought to be ashamed. ;)

It did. The icing is done, most of the decorating as well - there will be a press photo on Sunday, or so I hope.

Nothing done today unless you count wrapping and delivering but thought I would try to post a photo of the finished mittens


More mini stockings over the weekend I think. That or back to socks that aren’t finished yet.

They are supposed to be long and cover part of the arm not just the wrist (thought I better add that as my mum was not impressed)

That's what I like best about them, they come up far enough that they'll keep the wrists warm and not leave any annoying gaps for the cold to creep in.

Two more roses today, with interruptions like another Covid test, moral support for a close friend whose unkle died suddenly and another friend freshly diagnosed with 2 brain tumors. So I can't complain. I'll need to be more productive today!

You're a good and supportive friend. You were productive, maybe not on your roses, but helping people. That's time well spent even if you didn't get done what you were hoping to.
