Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Pretty much the same as yesterday — another 5 meece bodies knitted, another 5 pairs of ears crocheted, and the colour combinations for my next 5 chosen off my written list.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get back to stitching the eyes and noses on the last batch. The only reason they didn't get done over the weekend is because it was the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final, and knitting was easier to do while that was going on that trying to concentrate on getting eyes in the right places.

I also got outside for a little while today, clearing some brambles since it was dry and mild out. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain, so I doubt I'll get any gardening done, but at least I achieved something today.

But yes, I'm getting more organised with the making of meeces. I'd like to have 75 completed by the new year.

It was, and the knitting kept me from gnawing on my fingernails while waiting to see if my favourite couple would make it through to the final. I don't even bite my nails, never have, but last night I might have started, lol!

I baked four batches of biscuits today - the fancy ones, so tomorrow will be all about filling and decorating.

Rolling towards the glorious end, thank God. I love baking, but this session was a tad too intense, even for me. *g*

I finished the purple scarf - I dropped so many stitches in the end >.< But luckily sibling doesn't care so long as it keeps them warm so I'll be dropping that off end of the week. I also painted a wooden snowflake ribbon banner thing - I'm going to put it on my front door.

I agree with your sibling: the only important thing with a scarf is to keep one warm. You should have seen my two attempts of knitting a scarf - the results were beyond pathetic. *g*

It seems like scarves should be simple, but I kept dropping stitches BUT I SAW IT THROUGH \O/ lol

7 more rows done on the first glove - this takes me to the point where I have to factor in the thumb, hopefully I'll get that sorted tonight. If I can start early enough I might even get it finished.

Good luck! The thing with the thumb sounds intimidating. At least to me, since I can't even knit...
