Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The last meeces from this batch have their ears attached — I miscounted yesterday, there were 8 not 6 — and 12 of them now have tails! All the rest of the yarn for the tails is cut — the meeces are each two colours so I'm using one thread of each colour for the tails. Hopefully get the rest of those attached tomorrow, which will just leave stitching their faces.

I bet there were only 6 yesterday and they've bred!

Lol! No, there really were 8, 6 in the drawer I keep my scissors, needles and stuff in, and two more in a plastic bag tucked into the carrier bag with the ones that already had their ears. I found them this morning while I was cutting the yarn for the tails. I had to get all the meeces out and match their colours.

I've baked coconut crescents, hazelnut hearts and little orange tartlets today. And the weird angel found itself a home: a friend dropped by to collect her share of cookies, fell in love with the angel and take it home with her. *g*

Orange tartlets sound amazing and I'm not surprised about the angel! She's adorable.

I collect recipes that use leftover egg white. Some of them even prove absolute delicious - like the orange tartlets. ;)
