Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've worked hard today! I gathered up the nose ends of all 16 meeces so I only had to sew up their under-seams, and I just finished sewing up and stuffing the last of today's 7 meeces! That means ten are done, leaving 9 more in this batch. Yay!

I didn't manage to post yesterday but I did finish crocheting the second sock of the second pair. Today I finished the sewing up portion of them both. I made a start on a pair of fingerless gloves but had to undo what I'd done as the tension was wrong and they were going to be huge! Too tired to start over.

I also finally gave up and contacted a GP (mine is on leave this week) as I've had a cough for the last couple of weeks. As I'd taken several bi-weekly Lateral flow tests in the time I've had it, I was pretty convinced it wasn't Co-vid, but dragging on as it has been, it was getting the better of me - tired, sore, etc. After speaking on the phone, she told me to go into the practice to see her and... I have a chest infection. So I've had to cancel a bunch of appointments for the next few days but a couple were work related, the others medically related - I'll still be working but can't do any in person stuff. I don't think this has helped with my patience or energy when it came to crafting this evening. I'll maybe try again tomorrow.

So sorry to hear you're not well. Hope you'll be fully recovered soon. Just get as much rest as you can.

Another 3 batches of cookies baked. I'm up to 27 different sorts now. Tomorrow lots of decorating is on the programme, then two more batches on Friday and - hopefully - a press photo on Saturday. ;))

Well, let's see... 27 are done, two more coming up tomorrow, that's 29... Currently there are 44 on my baking masterlist, but if I don't feel like making another 15 or so, I'll simply leave out a few. (Unlikely but not impossible.)

I did the scoring for Nerdopolis, and have started planning my projects for this month's challenges.

I also gathered up my supplies for stitch club at the library tomorrow.

So, no crafting done today but a fair amount of craft-adjacent busyness.
