Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've crocheted 5 pairs of meece ears. I really should start sewing up the striped bodies but I wasn't in the mood today.

I've also listed another batch of meece colour combinations I want to knit, this time bringing into the mix 5 shades of pink, two shades of purple, turquoise, light blue, and a green and white yarn. Some of these will be combined with colours I've used in the first batch. The meece rainbow continues!

Are all the meece ears the same colour or do they match the meeces?

They will be matching the individual meeces, one of the two colours used on their bodies. So far I've made two bright yellow pairs, and one pair each of bright green, brown, and sparkly pink.

Really I need to get the bodies sewn up and stuffed so I can decide what colour ears I need for each of the meeces. It was a lot easier with the plain ones, where ears and bodies were all one colour.

I've baked orange hearts today; very lovely cookies, and blessedly easy to make. And I hung the googly-eyed Santa head from yesterday on our front door. Now I'm waiting for the shrieks of shocked neighbours. *g*

The new expansion in my MMO drops early on Friday. The game's going down for maintenance very early on Thursday, so will be offline for 24 hours. This means I've been busy trying to cram as much last-minute stuff in as possible as I had tons of goals I wanted to do in game, so crafting has mostly gone by the wayside.

Still, I found some time to finish a few things over the past few days!

Candy Swirl Coaster - I've made a TON of these, they are fun and easy. This one is for a Nerdopolis challenge related to winter holiday figures: I obviously chose Santa Claus as my inspiration.


Finished a pair of fingerless mitts!


And a crocheted shawl. This was for the Ancient Egypt challenge - I took pyramids as my inspiration (the face of a pyramid is a triangle, so I made a triangular shawl.)
