Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Not been feeling great today, but I've finished 8 more meeces, leaving 7 more to do. One of the finished ones resembles Concord, with its dropped nose, not my best work, but it has character *grins*

Thank you, I hope so too. I wanted to get some crafting done despite everything though. There's nothing strenuous involved in stitching faces on meeces, thankfully!

It's only 1:24 pm here so still plenty of time to get stuff done today but I am commenting now because I've had a BLANKET DISASTER!!! One of my point protectors popped off, so half the row fell off the needles. It unraveled 3-6 rows. 😭 I'm working on fixing it but I've already been at it 45 minutes and am only half done. Lots of swearing happening.

First scarf is finished with tassels! Photo tomorrow I hope. Looks short - I might have to ask a friend to measure one of her kids’ scarves, just to check. It doesn’t look bad for a first attempt.

I plan to start a second scarf tomorrow- probably pink with maroon as the second colour. So many things I want to make and not enough time. Lots of wool but not enough of any one type for half the things I would like to try. *sigh*. Mind you if I keep going like this I will eventually be able to justify buying yarn for a new project (ha ha ha) - I might even have somewhere to keep it! I certainly don’t yet.

Yes, that's the problem with having small amounts of different yarns, but they're good for small items or random blanket or cushion cover squares. Keep working away at things and one day you might see your yarn stash getting smaller!

No crafting today, just too tired. I did manage to do some website updates and load them up so they're live- the "Where to buy books" page with logos etc for ease of Xmas shopping and future social media posts. Attempted Xmas photos of my cat for her Instagram which was mildly successful, sort of.
