Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Got a bit carried away so I've knitted another 7 mouse bodies. I guess next I should sew them up... Not today though.

My sparkly stars are finished:



In real life they don't have this bluish hue the iPad mini's camera just loves to add to everything that's actually white. So yeah; they are white. And, as you can see, quite uneven in places and definitely lopsided here and there. The re-used wrapping paper didn't always react to the wet glue the way I hoped it would; plus, as you know, I have this problem with straight lines, be it cutting, drawing or gluing. But I like them well enough nonetheless, even though I had to give up on the blue beads at the hanging - none of them had a hole wide enough to push the needle through it. So the stars with a blue pom-pom got a white bead, too.

Thank you for the lovely comments yesterday about the tapestry. I took it and the two paintings to the framer today (yep, I did manage to find the missing one). They should be ready for collection in 7 - 10 days.

Settling down now with my crochet hook to watch some TV. Back to making squares for the blanket.

How many squares do you have for your blanket so far?

About 24 so far, which is probably about half what I need. 1 finished so far this evening, just about to start a second.

I use a camera and getting things to look the colour they actually are is almost impossible.
