Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another mostly quiet indoors day today, doing laundry and writing, but I got outside early before the rain kicked in and cleared some brambles so tomorrow, if the tree people come, they'll be able to get at the maple tree in the hedge that they're supposed to take out. There are 5 altogether, self set, but this was the only one not easily accessible. It's hiding behind some shrubs. Tomorrow, unfortunately, we're supposed to be getting heavy rain all day, so I don't know if cutting down trees will be possible.

Another 20 rows knitted on the second arm warmer, so that's at 90 rows, and the first one is on 120. Not sure yet how much longer they need to be, so I'll have to do some measuring.

I had a non-crafty day again. Lots of cooking in advance, plus working on the timeline. I'm hoping for some peaceful crafty times on Wednesday- *fingers crossed*

I've forgotten what colour these arm warmers are. They're clearly progressing well.

I've got to the point on mini Hobbit's sleeve where I need to decide whether to do the second set of stripes. I think I've decided not to - I'm not sure what they'll look like - it's impossible to tell until I've knitted one, but which time it will be Too Late. They'll be fine with a simple set of stripes, so it's not as if they desperately need them.

Thanks! They're light grey, because they're for a guy who prefers neutral colours.

Thank you. It's for an almost five year old, so I'm sure she'd be happy, but from my point of view it will probably look better without (as you suggested when I started thinking about it), so it makes sense.

Thank you. I held the start of the sleeve up to my arm to see how it would work out, and mini Hobbit is rather smaller than me so I think it will be better without a second set of stripes.
