Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Annoyingly, it rained during the night, which wasn't ideal. It might rain again tonight, but I'll still have to continue with the painting even if the wood's a bit damp because it'll be worse if I don't. Unfortunately it's becoming obvious that one can of wood stain is not going to be enough for two coats, so I'll have to order another and I won't be able ti do the second coat until it arrives. I'll be out there painting again in the morning, hopefully I'll get another side done.
Despite all that, I managed to squeeze out another 12 rows on the back of my sweater in between the dances on Strictly.

It's a few inches short of where the pattern wanted it to be, but it's plenty tall, even with the brim. And since it's so plushy and made of nice wool it'll be nice and warm for winter here in Vermont.
Next project is probably a pentacle wreath made from branches I've collected from different places my partner and I have lived to hang on the door of our first home that we moved into this past Spring.

The pentacle wreath sounds a wonderful idea, commemorating the past to celebrate the future!

Also I love the idea of collecting branches from the different places you've lived. I keep a little bowl with dried flower petals from various important moments (the first flowers my husband gave me, some petals from my wedding bouquet, flowers from a milestone birthday, etc).
