Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

That's just plain frustrating!

At least you cut back the shrub and did some more rows on the sweater.

I finished another card today:

That’s annoying! Well done on tackling shrubs and knitting though.

That’s a lovely design. Do you make your own designs or are they a kit/pattern?

Looked after my niece this evening and started to teach her to knit. She started a scarf for her toy horse and so did I. The deal was we’d both work on it with a view to the horse having scarves by Christmas but only when she visits (can’t see it happening myself but not to worry). The horse is quite large (think large teddy that you could hug - not large that could hug you back 😁) No time to work on my own projects but not to worry, they’ll still be there tomorrow. Hoping to get to a craft shop tomorrow and keeping fingers crossed that they will have the tapestry supplies I need, though I feel it’s unlikely still if I don’t try I’ll never know.

No sewing yet- been busy with other things, but I did switch the bed canopy lights over from a small string a yellowy lights to a large string of silvery-white lights and it looks really wonderful now. Looking up at it is just gorgeous!

I really hate that "we tried, but we sure really didn't"

I bought a Christmas kit which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

Echoing above comments that it's a really lovely idea (your niece and knitting).

This is really beautiful! And a lot of work, I imagine.

A toy horse with scarves. Now *that* is the idea. Perhaps if I manage to resuscicate my long-forgotten knitting, I should make one for my teddy, too. In about fifteen years or so... ;)

No crafting in the recent two days. Yesterday I had chores upon chores and today we had a visitor, so yeah. Not expecting to do much more in the near future as we're expecting more visitors, not to mention my upcoming birthday, but I'll see where I might spare half an hour or so.

Those delivery blokes are really shameless.

Thank you very much. It takes between 10 days and 2 weeks to do a card, so not bad - it all depends how much time I want to spend each day.
