Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

It's been raining all day so I've been sorting stuff out indoors. There's always something needs doing.

I've started the second sleeve, knitted the rib and the first pattern repeat — only 10 more to go. Also another 10 rows on the first arm warmer, which will need to be around 120 rows so I'm not halfway yet.

Thanks. I can do without the weeds and other outdoor things growing, but I'm happy with the knitting progress.

Did a little bit more work on Eeyore. It wasn’t much but it was late when I was started.

Every stitch is progress. It's hard to get anywhere with a late start.

It was so late last night I was too tired to even think about doing any. Posting what I’d finished the day before was my limit.

Sorting out stuff is important! I went through my felt rests today and threw out the pieces that were smaller like a thumbnail. ;)

Woefully behind in things again. Still updating lj posts (Five posts to do and only one done) and had two crushing days at work. There's a lot of Covid contact tracing nearby and I've had to check busses and places I've been, though the app is brilliant for that.

Coolest news this week is that my book is going to be made into braille, so that's really cool.

I finished my crocheted blanket, and found myself keen to get back to knitting with yarn that's finer than DK. But I haven't quite been able to settle on a pattern yet. I'm looking at Light Wave by Kieran Foley, as something moderately interesting but not too demanding of concentration - but also thinking, I bet I could just do something like that without a pattern anyway. Hmm. Might take a bit of knitting and frogging to figure that out. In which case, maybe I should spend the $6 dollars and get the pattern.

Thus, I procrastinate.

I keep even tiny pieces to punch out eyes from. I use a paper punch to cut out tiny round eyes for various things.

Alas, the paper punch doesn't work on felt. And it is very hard to cut out tiny things by hand only.

Thankfully mine does, guess I'm lucky to have one that works even on quite tough felt, even if it's a bit hard on my hands.
