Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: What piece of crafting equipment do you wish someone would invent?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

I have one shorter (70 rows) arm warmer knitted and the second only 2 rows from completion, will finish it shortly. I want to see if this length works for the shorter ones or if I need another 10 rows.

Cushion covers finished but need pressing. Pads arrived. Scrunchies sewn (so that I could put the machine away) but not yet filled with elastic. I have the elastic. The problem was the one bodkin I own. See above.
So that's tomorrow sorted.

Well done with the cushion covers and the scrunchies. I guess it's a case of putting the sewing machine away and getting the iron out now.
Oh, I know that feeling! I kept my needles for sewing up my knitting along with my bodkin in an old felt needle case, I'd ben using it for 20 years or so. Then my sister spotted it one day on one of her rare visits, said she'd made the needle case in school and wanted it back. Never mind that she'd chucked it years ago and I'd rescued it. So I took all my needles out and I've ben trying to find them for the past several years. I have no idea where I put them *sigh* I need to buy a new bodkin.
