Phew, another 32 rows on the turquoise sweater. It's actually a 40 row pattern repeat, working rows 3 to 42, so I have to remember now to knock off two rows when I calculate how many I've knitted. The first two pattern rows are only done once. Anyway, it's growing fast, already 9.5 inches!
I have to look at the chart at the start of each right side row, and I got a bit confused at one point, leading to me unpicking a row when I didn't need to, but I think I'm maybe starting to get the hang of the pattern.
Got a good 2.5 hours in the garden today clearing ivy and chatting with my neighbour's chickens through the hedge. They're quite sociable and seem very interested in what I'm doing. They can't get through into my garden, my neighbour has wire mesh on her side because of her dogs and the chickens.
