Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

32 rows of raglan shaping on sleeve 2. I've still got another pattern and a bit to go though, and then I've got the back to finish. I want this sweater done!

I finished the fourth square of my throw, and began the next, which is one colour but textured.

Textured should make a pleasant change, easier than the two-colour designs.

Yes, not sure how many rows left to do though. I'll have to start another ball of yarn to finish them of course, and then I'll use what's left to complete the back. I hope.

As promised, here's a picture of the finished fingerless mitts:



I thought I would have the sun hat finished today, too. I'm on the last round, but have decided the wire I had on hand is too flimsy. So tomorrow I will run out and get heavier gauge wire and finish it then.

I also went back to my weaving and did another repeat of the draft on my current WIP.

Finally, knit about six rounds on the rat. Might do some more of that later tonight.

Thanks. I really just hate this pattern so much I want to get the sweater done as fast as possible, lol! It's the worst written, most nonsensical pattern I've ever come across. Looks great but is a nightmare to follow. Still, as long as the end result is wearable...

Good luck with getting more suitable wire and finihing the hat. Is the wire to help the brim hold its shape?

Sounds like you're making good progress on a lot of things. I'm especially looking forward to the finished rat!

Thank you very much. I found a knitalong which had some lovely patterns. I'm several weeks behind, but not worried.
