Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

More sorting of papers, and I MIGHT have found one bit of info I need. Still looking for the rest, but I cleared out loads more for recycling, so that's good.


Even got a few minutes in the garden because there was still a bit of room in the garden waste bin, and I belatedly realised since Monday was a bank holiday, the bins will be emptied a day late this week.

No crafting again here.

I did work in the yard a lot this afternoon. Removed grass from two (of three) little triangle shaped flowerbeds I want to make in the front corner of the yard. I have already planted some tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils in these areas.

I finished the second swan for the swan doily! Trying to decide if I should sew in the ends or get started on the heart and then realized, well, I can start on the heart since that's easier, and if I have the time/mental energy, I can work on sewing in the ends on the swans even while construction of the heart is underway. But also I really, really want to work on the parasol...

(And let's not even talk about the fabric twist boxes that need sewing and finishing. Why do I hate sewing so much lol)

I did no sewing yesterday, instead retreating into colouring patterns. At this stage I am only continuing with my jacket project in order to discover all the pitfalls before trying again.
