Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Didn't get any crafting done today, I was outside battling the front hedge. Again. I'm making progress, but it's slow going.

I did a bit more mending on my scuffed old jacket--now I think I got all the little tears?

I've finished the first pot holder, knitted another mini-scarf and started a new one. Small steps and all that.

was kinda busy (for me) today and very sleepy, but managed to do a little spinning with my drop spindle. getting a lot more consistant!

Swatching on the tee at Starbucks until I got frustrated at the gauziness of the fabric I was producing, then did half a round on the headband.

I did more swatching on the tee after doing some more work this afternoon. I've got some plans: I will likely do foundation SC instead of a chain, and will likely do linked DC instead of regular DC. But I need to do even more swatching, to figure out what my gauge is in linked DC and whether or not I need to go up a hook or not (linked DC is firmer/squatter than regular DC).

Spinning tempts me, but not enough to follow through on it. At least, not yet. But man have I seen some GORGEOUS hand-spun yarns, and yes, some were made on a drop spindle. Enjoy your spinning, and yay at getting more consistant!

Finished a drawing

Today I finally finished a colouring page I wanted to gift on the 19th of March (I'm incredibly late...). I made sure one of the colours was without gaps and marked all edges with black fine line pen (not very easy!), because most of them became invisible after using watercolours and wax pastels

Oof, getting the look you want is taking a lot of effort for the t-shirt. I hope you can work things out to your satisfaction. It's such a pretty pattern.

Wonderful! It always such a great feeling when the people we create something for appreciate our efforts.
