Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

20 rows, a full pattern repeat, on the front of my sweater. I am most grateful for a simple pattern that means I'm actually getting some reading done while I knit. I've managed to get further through this book in the last week than I have in the previous 2 months. Only trouble is, there's another equally thick volume after this one to finish the series...

Decent progress today: I've finished the third felt mini-kitty and almost finished the front panel of the mini-teddy.

Mostly chores today after a poor night's sleep. I have finally picked up the last trivet to weave in ends.

Depending on whether I decide to continue to the next book or take a break first. I don't like knitti9ng in the heat of summer. Still got at least a couple hundred pages of this book left though. Can't see me finishing it before I finish the sweater.

I can only read on the purl rows because I have ton watch what I'm doing on the pattern rows, but I still got through about 20 pages.

Today is designated for housewoek tidy, since I've been kind to my knee and done none for a whole week. I still need to finish off the drawstring pouches, though I've made a start.

I've been reading this trilogy for about three years already, lol! The final volume was so long the publisher and the author agreed to publish the paperback edition as two books. I am determined to finish it!

Improvised a magnet alphabet tin for the kiddos to keep them busy when they’re out and about (leftover magnet backing from a Peppa Pig magnet book plus alphabet stickers and an empty altoid-type tin).

Still working on the baby sweater. Thought I was further along than I was, but then one row sneakily had…eighteen rows in the instructions. Getting close though!

Thank you! It isn't even that I don't like the book, it's just very long with a lot of characters and interweaving plot threads, and my brain is tired. I used to be better at reading massive fantasy trilogies.
