Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another 20 rows on the back of my sweater. I'm nearing the end of my first ball.

No crafting today. I might take a break while picowrimo is in session, so that I can spend what little creative energy I have on my writing. Perhaps I'll cut out some more parts for small plushies and put them away for later. We'll see. I'm not really motivated at the moment, and Easter baking is looming at the horizon, too.

Do what ever you need to survive while still feeding your creativity. Remember, writing is just crafting with words, so it counts!

It's a simple pattern, and I'm getting to read a bit on the purl rows, which is also good. I'm halfway through a massive book which is the first half of the final volume of a fantasy trilogy I've been battling my way through for years. I took a break to read something else, but now I'm back to reading it I need my knitting to help motivate me.

I've been putting it off because I hate doing it but I wove in the ends on blanket #2. Just needs blocking and then it's done!

I've begun the stashbusting blanket for my cat - I have knitting club in the morning and I needed something on the needles to take, so I've literally just cast on and done one row. But I'm just going to freestyle some squares for this and put them all together.

Well done! I too hate all the sewing in of ends. IO don't know anyone who enjoys the process, but it's such a relief once it's done.
