Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Managed a full pattern repeat of 20 rows today! Just 5 complete patterns and 18 rows left before casting off at the shoulders.

ok, so funny...ish story for the week's question

so, some number of years back, let's not go into how many *cough*, I started making chainmail

and it was fun! I liked it! HOWEVER that was also right around the time when I was developing a contact allergy with just about every metal ever :')

I still have my materials from that short-lived hobby, but I can't, like... touch them for more than a few seconds at a time lol

The craft store on Saturday was a bust - they don't carry wool! So stash-busting it is.

Thank you! I doubt I'll manage a complete pattern repeat every day, but it's good to know I can when I have the time. There was a time I might have knitted the entire back in one or two days.

hmm... I kinda hate the feel of latex lol, but theoretically ya that could work

but I still wouldn't be able to touch my finished items lol

Yeah, I don't like it either. No fun not being able to touch what you make though.

It's a good thing there are so many different crafts out there!
