Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My recent creativity has been gardening-related. Yesterday I took pictures:

Today I trimmed dead stems from the sedum. I also raked off the rain garden and found crocus flower buds underneath. :D I may get out to try taking a picture of that.

I've made several nursery orders too. Progress.

I posted the flower bud pictures! They don't look like much yet, but after a brown winter, any scrap of green is a delight.

Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate!

I...made SO MUCH FOOD for the holiday. Felt like I spent two days in the kitchen, but it was worth it, plus the girls were willing to get all dressed up and say their greetings and get their envelopes and pose for pictures for the grandparents.

Gonna try and get the poor stuffed turtle pinned for sewing tonight before I fall asleep...

I love my wormstones. :D They have both positive and negative trails in different places.

Fossils are so cool. I went looking for some at a local nursery that has a fantastic rockyard. I found two wormstones and a pink slab with some sort of branching structure in it. I want to go back sometime soonish and look for more. I never know what I'll find there. I also got some big cobbles for outlining the purple-and-white garden. Last year they also had bundles of decorative twigs around this time of year, not sure if they were dogwood or willow, but both of those root very easily just by sticking the cut twigs in a bucket of water, or even in wet soil. That might be fun to try.

No, crafting today. All day was spent either preparing for a family dinner or having said dinner. After, I was going to knit, but I am just tired and I still have to move all the stuff we quickly moved out of sight from company onto my bed off of my bed. Maybe I'll just sleep on the couch. XD
