Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Added another 10 rows to both arm warmers and cast them off. Now they just need to be sewn up.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEE! (three more pieces of the first portion left. But I finished one side of it, which let me put that portion on another portion and OMG THIS IS LOOKING GOOD, I'M SO PLEASED! still lots to do but I feel more motivated now)

The new book has gone live and I've taken stock of the other quote book and that's been taking up a lot of time this week, so no crafting at all. Got a house inspection today so I need top be doing that but it means for the past few days I've been putting crafting things away rather than getting them out and using them. Hopefully a return to making things later this week. Still need to do a bit more website work and blog footers adding the new book into images, so that needs to be a priority too. Not enough hours in the day.

Last night, I did end up adding 6 more rows to the cable blanket, though my wrist was telling me I should have stopped at 4. This morning it was fine and tonight, I knitted another 2 rows.

I also went to Lynne's today to make cards. We did do the pop out heart kits from the library. It tested her a bit, but it's the kind of challenging novel activity the cognitive speech therapist said to do with her - activities that are slightly outside her norm. Lynne was also in a bit of a testy mood today, which I am pretty sure was at least partially my fault, but I'm not going to let her play games with her pills.

I also managed to design another set of butterfly themed cards, kind of a 90s grunge motif. And while we were trying to find Lynne's "made with love by Lynne" stamp she puts on the back of cards she makes, I found another 5 or so sets of butterfly embellishments that weren't already part of Lynne's pile on the desk. It seems the butterflies aren't going anywhere soon.

Yay, well done! You're making great progress on the blanket.

That's good, keep her brain working. Definitely don't let her mess with her pills though.

Butterflies are versatile and quite popular, so I'm sure there are plenty of ways to use them.
