Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Half of the remaining overstuffed bees now have wings more to scale. I have 7 more to put wings on, and I've made 4 sets of wings, so only 3 more pairs to crochet. After that, I need to stitch eyes on all 28.

Oh, right, forgot something about crafting goals: forget learning how to knit a hood, I should try to see how to raise stitches and add pockets on a cardigan first, then see about a hood. And maybe how to sew a breast pocket on a button-down shirt?

Adding pockets is easy, no need to raise stitches unless you're putting a pocket on an existing garment. Just knit the lining, then when you reach where you want the pocket opening, slip the same number of stitches onto a holder top rib for the pocket top, and put the pocket lining in place, working across those stitches instead. I've done pockets quite a few times. Good luck!

I've made the ironing boards for my laundry rooms. They turned out rather disproportional as the washing machines dominate the room... I might or might not make other ones, not caring if they overlap with the washing machines. I've given up on the idea of the folding legs as two-year-olds wouldn't appreciate the effort anyway, even if I could make them work. So they are going to be fixed boards; adding the washing line and the laundry basket will make the rooms a bit crowded, but that can't be helped.

Now to come up with an idea what to use the miniature ironing boards for...
