Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The prototype larger bee is completed, and I think it turned out really well. It's about 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) in length, and about 11cm (4.25 inches) around its middle. Hopefully I'll take the mugshots tomorrow.

Working on the snowpeople ornaments today. I have 5 more bodies done and started making carrot noses. This one is my first draft from last week. I tried out the earmuff version and can't get them to work as nicely, so top hats for all. About 2 inches tall.

No, the big ones are potentially prizes for the bee awareness thing that is being run in town at present. The shop that has the brooches asked if larger ones might be possible, I think the idea is to make them into keyrings. If what I've come up with is suitable, I might be asked to make something like 100 of them. That would be a big task, but I'm up for it.

Oh wait, there was zero work on buttonholes this weekend after all. Maybe later this week. But probably knitting my jumper will take precedence.
