Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: Does anyone have any plans for making Christmas gifts or cards?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

My most recent creative activity was a new chicken soup recipe. Tonight I plan to tinker with the leftovers, adding more of the Curry Spices.

A later tonight plan is oat flour blueberry muffins.

I've got my eye on another holiday market that had lots of local crafters last year.

I also have the materials for butternut squash soup.

Yesterday, I baked a batch of chocolate, chocolate chip cookies and delivered them to the library. Unfortunately, when I got to the library, they were out of ornament kits. The cookies were well received though.

That night, I also finished knitting up the coffee cozy for my sister.

Today, the anxiety demons have won, but after work I was able to buy some mailers in hopes one would be right for mailing off the coffee cozies for the friend that originally asked for them. (I have some other things to mail, so the other mailers won't go to waste.)

That's very exciting possible news. 100 bees is definitely a lot to potentially knit.

You have been up to some very tasty crafting.

I love food, and I love exploring with new ingredients. It's fun and creative, and usually tasty.

Tonight I made the oat flour blueberry muffins again. That's probably this year's favorite recipe.

Excellent to both.

Ah, crap, I have to redo my jumper's collar *yet again*. But I finally understood what went wrong every time I've tried this pattern: it's not a maths but a syntax & vocabulary problem. When they say to count stitches intervals they mean strictly in-between markers, not including the ones bearing a marker. No wonder it never added up until now. (And how frustrating, gah!!)

They taste exactly like blueberry pancakes -- the sweetener is maple syrup. :D Recipe is on the back of Quaker oat flour bags. I just added a teaspoon of powdered lemon. One of the options is using lemon juice and zest. These muffins make an excellent second breakfast or road munchie.

Thanks to all! *hugs*

Why do I feel like installing Christmas elves somehow involves an Allen wrench?

LOL. I can imagine! You need them for so many random things and always unexpectedly.
