Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My only progress towards crafting today was to dig out a few card blanks for making some Christmas cards. It's a step in the right direction though.

Yesterday we went to Hometown Holly Days in Marshall. Most of the vendors had crafts, including some very classic stuff that I rarely see nowadays. Plus several of our favorite bakers were there. :D

Cooking cooking cooking. I've finished the rolls and the in-laws will be here soon.

The snowman ornaments will be the front of my holiday cards.

Does anyone have any plans for making Christmas gifts or cards?

Just some kind of ornaments for the kidlets. I'm having trouble deciding on a pattern, though. I tried a snowflake but mine was coming out way big and sloppy, meh. I'm thinking maybe mini knitted sweater ornaments? but I don't know if they would like those, hmm.

I kind of burned out on crafting for a bit, but I absolutely need to get back to it. Unfortunately, my room is rather a mess which means many of my supplies have been misplaced. Nerdopolis is doing a "Cats vs. Dogs" theme this month and I thought I'd finally start a pair of kitty mittens, but I do not feel up to seeking out my needles. So I am mostly sitting here pouting, and refreshing Ravelry.

Maybe refreshing Ravelry will give you some ideas or get the creative urge into gear, you never know!

Good luck with whatever you decide on for the kidlets. And hopefully your suppies and needles will turn up with the minimum effort on your part.

No crafting today but I did some craft planning yesterday.

I want to make my partner a warm wool scarf. He picked the yarn out of my scraps & main stash. I found a pattern to fit what he wanted. Next steps are to measure the yarn to be sure I have enough & wind it.
