Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another day of no crafting. Instead, today I removed all 17 of the loose parts of the fire, took them outside, and scrubbed them with a wire brush, then put them all back after cleaning out the inside of the fire as well as I could.


It's all ready now so I can light the fire whenever I want. *sigh* Back to the grind of cleaning it out twice a day, every day, then making it up at night. Still, when I DO light it, I will at least have hot water, hot radiators, and be able to work my way through the piles of laundry I couldn't do over summer because it KEPT RAINING! If I can't hang laundry out in the garden to dry in summer, it doesn't get done, because I have no other way to dry it when the fire is out.

I'm keeping it that way for a bit. I've been doing a lot.

weekly question; tbh I like cotton, but nobody dyes pretty colorways in cotton. Straight from store or bust.

I did a row on the cardi today. I'm STILL at 4" to go on the sleeve. It feels like it's not growing at all, meh. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to do more crafts or play video games. Decisions, decisions.

I finished the baby blanket! Just in time too since we go visit the family tomorrow and baby is due basically any moment at this point.

Cotton works well for crochet. Shame you can't get really pretty colours.

We all need a break from crafting sometimes.

My arms hurt now, I usually have some help, but I slammed a CD on, turned the sound up so I could hear it outside, and got stuck in. Good music makes chores easier.

I finished my scarf, yay! And i,m very proud of it. However i fucked up my laptop,s keyboard and don,t really know how to use this phone yet, so i can,t post pics now. Boo.
