Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The fifth seashell design is finished! The shell on this one is long and narrow, so it took less stitching.


Also has rain most of the day, so I've barely set foot outside.

Same here, although for us it was the heat that kept us indoors.

At least the morning was tolerable, so I put those few hours to good use and finished my pencil holders, both the penguin one and the Santa one. They turned out very cute, if I say so myself. There'll be pictures tomorrow, assuming the light is gonna be right.

Congrats! I am hoping for a good rain, we've just had the annoying sprinkles that stop you from doing outdoor stuff yet also do not provide enough moisture so I still have to water the peppers.

Have been very busy today. Lots of weeding, I mowed, also managed to do a little more house scraping and repair work.

I'm going to read a chapter of my book, then do a round on the blue trivet, then read. See how far that gets me tonight.

I've almost finished the second sleeve of the cardigan - then I just need to do cuffs on both sleeves and the neckline ribbing - I just need to focus for a few more evenings and I can finish this!

I posted a batch of new poetry on my blog yesterday.

Today so far has just been catching from the internet outage last night. I'm hoping to make a new stir-fry for supper, though, there are peas ripe in the garden.
