Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

More progress on the fourth seashell design, maybe two thirds of the shell is stitched. As always, this is the fiddly part and takes the longest, made more difficult by uncooperative thread. It kept knotting, and while some knots pulled undone easily, several times I had to cut the thread and discard the knotted bit. Grrr.

All 14 sachets sewn in advance have been filled, sewn closed and decorated.

I think they've turned out rather neat, but I'm biased, of course. I still have enough lavender left for one more sachet, but I don't feel like sewing one just yet. Perhaps when I start making the cherry pit pillows...

sunshine_revival is happening and the friending meme asked what DW communities you participate in and of COURSE I mentioned get_knitted, it is my very favorite community on DW.

New month, new goals, new projects. Today I worked on the Mosaic Cardi for about a half hour while listening to the second Murderbot audiobook. I also started a gnome with the new yarn I had bought for them from Hobbii.

Might do more today, but knowing me, will play games after dinner.
