Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I won't get anymore stitching done tonight, it's too grey and overcast, and I need good natural light to distinguish between the two shades of yellow I'm working with, but I've made decent progress, so I'm satisfied.

This morning I did Alphinaud's ears, which means his body is DONE! Well, okay, I haven't placed the hair strands yet...kinda waiting for that until I get home to his twin sister and can use her as a reference.

Now comes the fun/challenging part: knitting his clothes by making up a pattern from scratch. First, I needed to decide what clothes to do. I gave a thought to doing his Heavensward outfit as that's the expansion his voice actor is currently playing, but I've decided to do his Endwalker (Sage) outfit because I think it will be more fun.

I have no work this week (both a blessing and a curse) so I have plenty of time to work on his clothes, but I doubt I'll finish all of it before month's end.

Because I am away from home dog-sitting, I also don't have any other obligations other than feeding self and dog and cleaning up after cooking. So yes, really hoping to get a bunch done!

I took a break from crafting. Too many chores. We will see how tomorrow goes. I’d like to start putting my little kits together.

Togekiss complete! There's detail work I could technically do (color appliques on belly) but he's a functional plush now in the shape he's supposed to be in.

Scale lattice progressed on the bag, now about half done with the fifth row of Actual Scales.
(I had a car trip today. Very productive.)

Managed to do another row on the six point blanket this morning, which brings me to 26/55. Tonight is writing night so I don’t anticipate getting a lot more done but that’s okay.

I have at least been having crafty success lately even if I've been bad about checking in about it. Earlier this month I finished my first embroidery project in almost a year.
