Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: Do you change crafts with the season or stick to the same crafts year round?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

How frustrating! My sympathies!

More processing of the felt rest. I've run out of reds and yellows and most of the blues and pinks. Now on to the greens and different blues.

+hugs+ Good job doing all that work, but sorry about the frustrations.

I have done the body increases on Alphinaud. Usually I do 4 sets but that gives the doll wide hips, and since he is a boy, he doesn't need wide hips. So I just did two sets. I have a stretch of plain stockinette to knit before I divide the legs. Will probably knit more today but taking a break right now. I do have to make a decision on how exactly I'm going to split the stitches for legs/crotch since my stitch count is different than my usual, but that's not a difficult decision.

At least you got some, even if it's frustrating.

Working on a few rows of the mantle scarf. I have been making a lot of progress on my chores list, we are one week away from the new roof being installed.

I've done a bit, not a ton. I got the back structure for the scales done on the 4th row and like 3 scales done

May swap to the togekiss for a bit, the work needed for it is far less when totaled up. Could probably hammer another 40% of it out during D&D tomorrow, though putting it together is a separate thing.

I hope tomorrow's (today's) progress is smoother and you're able to finish the day with a sense of good achievement.

I'm working on the first sleeve - progress is slow because I'm pretty tired so not getting any done some evenings. Hoping to get a bit of writing done for my photo/journal project - there's only about 20 pages left in the album, so I think it's going to go over to a second album before I finish the current country when I look at how many photos there are still left to add in - this is not a bad thing, just a phew - I hadn't realised there was so much - I kind of thought things would go quicker.

I did it! I finished the blanket, and delivered it to the fair three whole hours before the drop-off deadline!

That was more double knitting than I've ever done in my entire life, and probably more than I'll ever do again, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

It's still like a drop of water on a hot stone but yeah... progress.

With emphasis on "little", I'm afraid, but better than nothing at all.

Not enough, I fear. I should have done this years ago, but there was always something more urgent. Now, however, I need these little geometric shapes for a bigger project, so I decided to go for it in earnest.

That is great! Yay for the new roof!

The travel journal sounds amazing - I wish I had the inspiration to make some while I was still able to, you know, travelling.
