Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No gardening at all today, I've been battling the cross stitch. Three and a half hours of work, and I've managed a bit over a square inch. I made mistakes twice that required unpicking, and another minor mistake where I missed one stitch in a certain shade of green and stitched it in a different green instead. That makes no noticeable difference so it's fine.


Made a VERY brief caterpillar check and found 2.

I've reverted to working on the cardigan and hope to finish the second front panel by tomorrow or maybe the day after.

I didn't actually make anything today but I did buy things. I have obtained concrete pavers for the tall folding shelves, and several tomato cages, and two partial flats of new plants. :D

That was a sh*tload of work - and likely fairly frustrating, too! Go you, fighting through all the hindrances!

If you think about it, gardening is very arty crafty, so it totally fits here. You picked up some more crafting supplies. =D

Gardening is very crafty. It's one of the areas where I'm prone to need something, look around, and pick up a random rock or stick to use. And when plants are ready to pick, I get to make things from them! :D
