Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: Do you change crafts with the season or stick to the same crafts year round?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Oooh both the bridge and well sound super cute. You could do either (or both) I bet!

Last night I got the cubes for the cube popup books fitted up and glued, and I made it to the halfway point of side 4 on the hanky, so woohoo for progress! So close to getting that done! Got the cube books finished tonight, so they're in the book press to dry overnight. Also continuing to slowly chip away (cut away?) at the hollow book project. Will definitely need to glue the outside again after I'm done cutting everything. It's been an adventure and a learning experience! Big task tonight is to stuff Easter eggs for the kiddos to have their hunt on Sunday.

My sleeve was getting stretched on my circular needle so I had to switch to a set of double-pointed needles. Necessary but now knitting is clunky.

Clubs are about the people, after all! if you enjoyed yourself, amount of crafting you did doesn't matter. (and do you have link or something to the cardi? it sounds like something I'd enjoy wearing, so might as well add it to my knitting waitlist 👀)

Hang in there. I've gotten out of a half a year long depression pit about a month ago, and it still hits hard when I accidentally skip my meds. It sucks, but this too shall pass.

Sleeve knitting is the worst! My gauge always changed significantly. -_-

The cardi is crocheted, and is one of those crochet patterns I saw and immediately fell in love with. Here's the Ravelry pattern page for it:

I'm doing it in the exact yarn and colorways it calls for, because I think it looks perfect as it is.

Oooh, love the keychain! And it immediately made me go to your profile to see if you had video games as an interest, which you do. :D I'm a gamer as well! Partial to the Final Fantasy franchise and RPGs in general. May your save files never get corrupted.

Oooh, thank you! I am very partial to argyle and similar patterns, so even though i'm not crocheting yet, this is definitely a pattern i'd try if I started :o The grays do look very nice.

ooh, I love them! green-blue is a gorgeous combo, and I love the clasp

thank you!! :D may your saves be safe as well. I grew up on pokémon, but nowadays I'm more into shorter indie games. but RPGs still have my heart and the older FFs are definitely something I want to eventually get some time to play.

Thank you! I only had some very plain toggles so I was thrilled to find the bag had some more decorative ones!

Considering my daily hamster wheel, this counts as a good day. *g*

No, no, it was a good kind of eventful: I've made vol-au-vents, an Easter bread and an Angel food cake!

That was a great deal of progress for a single day! Go you!

What do you put into those Easter eggs?

They are lovely! One of my choir mates made similar ones for us all, and we wore them on our concerts.

Thank you! That's so thoughtful of them. I love when jewelry has a story!
