Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Way to go! That sounds like an excellent plan. And trying something new is always so much fun! Books of pretty edges are so fun to have and try.

So far so good. The first edge turned out to not be suitable for the weight of yarn, and now that I'm committed to the next one, well, I should have modified it more than I did, but it will be a lovely wavy edge anyway.
