Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Three pattern repeats on the sleeve, but still increasing, so I doubt I'll manage that much in a day again.

No need to put pressure on yourself. It will be done when it will be done, and the meantime you've fun with working on it, don't you?

Increasing does sometimes make you feel like you're slower. Even when it might be more stitches now.

I finished a batch of humidifier mineral catchers. I'm sorting through yarn for a trivet.

I finished both armholes on my vest and started on the neckline. I'm hoping to have it finished and blocked over the weekend. I tried it on after the armholes were done, and it fits the way I wanted, which is a relief. One of the problems of knitting steeked garments is that you can't check the fit until the whole thing is almost done.

And the yarn I ordered for my blanket is supposed to arrive today, yay!

Stitch Club was yesterday, and I had a lovely time knitting on the legwarmers (though not without issues) and chatting with a fellow participant, who was a very good listener.

And then I had my knitting class at night, where I was Knowledge Girl and talked about gauge and ease, and showed my student how to do Magic/Traveling Loop or Two Circs for methods of small diameter knitting.

No crafting today, not sure I'll have time because I've worked most of today and still have an hour and a half to go (taking a short break!) but I'm toying with a fanfic for the Final Fantasy Kiss Battle which is going on here: https://lassarina.dreamwidth.org/2362779.html

We've had a good turn out this year for Kiss Battle! DO join us if you're a Final Fantasy fan.

I'm still hoping to get a legwarmer finished before end of month. It's possible, I just need to sit down and do it. Thankfully, the meds I was given for my shoulder have helped this week. Alas, I'm just about finished with the meds, though. :( but I see another doctor about it on Tuesday, so hopefully we can start PT/get it looked at further.

I am enjoying making it, but I want to wear it! *pouts* If I could have started when I got the yarn, I might have been almost done by now.

And I still have quite a few more increases to go. Sleeves are sometimes the least fun parts, but at least with these, when I get to the right length, I'll be decreasing again. Gotta love raglan shaping!

It's great that it fits the way you want, that must have been a bit nerve racking not being able to check; Sounds like you have a good chance for getting it finished over the weekend.

Glad you had a good time at stitch club, and that the knitting class went well! Also that the meds have been helping. I hope the doctor can give you more help / advice to get your shoulder back into full working order quickly.

Have had stomach flu and a fever and a migraine all day but last night I finished a crocheted spiderweb wristlet for a friend so that was nice.
