Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've worked a bit on Lola, the very floral elephant. I'm considering giving her flower-shaped eyes, assuming I can find flower-shaped buttons in the right size and colour, which is always a pain. If I can't then she'll have the same round black eyes as the other three. That's pretty, too.

Mostly chores today, but I'm cuddled with my electric blanket now. I'm reading a little, crocheting a little.

I just finished my Valetines. I did 9 this year. 8 were for DW friends and 1 was for my sister.



And I did a collage for Women's Heart Health day in the US (7 Feb--Wear Red Day).

I started on the bunny! I forgot that amigurumi single crochet is different from regular crochet so the legs started off different sizes but I fixed that and I finished the legs/body and got that stuffed and finished the head. Need to add the eyes and nose before I stuff it. Started on an. Pattern works up fast but it’s hard to see the stitches with chenille yarn.

To answer the question, yes. A few years ago, I made Valentine's Day themed goodie bags for my local friends and back when I used to actually be able to make and mail things a couple times a month, I used to make and send all my friends Valentine's. There used to also be a big Valentine's exchange at the scrapbooking store, when it was around. We had to make little mailboxes for them and everything. Also, when I used to do weekly crafting with Lynne before the dementia became obvious, we would make tons of them because it's her second favorite holiday. I have boxes of them still.

Today, the only crafty thing I did was test swatch some Zebra Kirarich Glitter Highlighters in pink, blue, and green.

You're making amazing bunny progress! Chenille yarn is ideal for a bunny even if it's not the easiest to work with.

Yeah, if only I had the right colours. But they all are too light to contrast with the fabric properly. 😣
