Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Now that Strictly Come Dancing is finished for this year, posting times might settle down a bit, perhaps be a bit earlier... who knows?


Anyway, I knitted 80 arm warmer rows during the final, which was a lot. Also got my peel off labels out and added the Happy Christmas, Merry Christmas, or whatever to the insides of the cards I'm making. All that's left is to add some peel off embellishments on the insides of the cards, and possibly on the outsides too, if I decide they need a little extra. We shall see. Good progress anyway.

Sorted my remaining embroidered cards to send them out on Monday. They won't arrive by Christmas, but better late then never, right?

I wanted to take a crafting break, remember? But then I removed another pair of shoulder pads from a sweather, and they already look like a meece-shaped finger puppet. All I need to add are the eyes, the nose and the ears. I think I'll do this; it will (hopefully) done quickly, and I hope it will turn out cute.

the commissioned stockings are DONE and handed off to the patron. I charged her what I originally quoted, which turned out way too little for all the work put in. But whatever, lesson learned, am never doing this again for anybody else (I did tell her if she wanted the other three we agreed upon, I could still do it, but not until February).

And then I came home and collapsed into a three hour nap. Not surprising, given everything, but i wanted to do some more crafting today. Can't tonight, I've already announced that I'm streaming tonight. Ah well.
