Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Argh! Still no sewing up, or work on the birthday card, all my time today was taken up with writing and laundry. I did get the first 20 rows done on the next arm warmer though, so that's something.

We had our big cleaning day, plus I had to go to the supermarket, which was bursting full, so all I did get done was cat-in-the-sack box #53. That means exactly 25 seconds of crafting. *sigh*

I have more time on my hands than you do though. If I had as much to deal with as you do, I'd not manage to fit in crafting either.

I've done the doily photo shoot and lots of chores today. My brother is moving, I went over and helped a little bit. I am probably just going to read, though I would have liked to crochet some.

I was mostly chores today too. Though I did get the cookies made for the family thing on Sunday.

Some crafting on laundry day is still pretty good. The weather can make everything "meh."

got some downtime before dinner, so I am scrolling Bsky and browsing legwarmer patterns on Ravelry. Because, y'know, my legs are FREEZING. Drawback of being a fiber artist: always wanting start a new project, when the simple answer is to just pull on some longer stockings.

I have warmed up some, and so have gotten over the mood to knit legwarmers, lol.

Stocking commission is crocheted together! That took about an hour and a half today. I may start sewing the applique on, or I might switch to a knit stocking for the kidlets... either way, I should really do more tonight before I play video games, but it's already 8:41pm...

and that's it for today, was working today plus the cable guy was here this morning so that took up some of my time.

My wrist has been hurting so I put a pause on crafting & unnecessary movement for the past few days. Which is annoying since I want to finish the last little bit of my current project, socks for my partner & start a new one. Thankfully my pain is doing better so it should get better with rest & the continued use of my wrist brace.

I did manage to cook & I even baked a loaf of bread today. It was my usual recipe but in a loaf pan instead of the dutch oven. It came out well & it will work better for sandwiches so I'm happy about it.

Yes, I was glad to fit something in.

Today's weather is supposed to be worse, heavy rain and winds up to 52mph. It was gusty yesterday, but tolerable. We'll see what today does. It's worst if the wind is blowing on the back of the house, so I'm hoping it will pick a different direction.

Oh, I know what you mean! There are so many projects to tempt us, and being cold just encourages us to look at things that will make us warm.

Glad your wrist is improving. Wrists can be so fragile, you don't realise how much they get used when crafting until they start hurting.
