Am on my phone so a quick update: did 20 min of mending today, mended my old duvet cover and then put it on. I am not confident it is going to hold up for long but at least I tried.

List of my Saturday purchases hopefully coming soon. My extra cardigan yarn also came in today along with a book on crocheting socks. The yarn is the same lot as the earlier purchases just like I asked for, yay! Plan B would have been to make the cardigan slightly smaller and crochet a border with the second purchase. I realised I should have gotten enough yarn for some wiggle room. Hopefully it is enough now.
