Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The two-tone purple arm warmers are sewn up, that just leaves the dark navy ones for my neighbour, but I haven't prepared them yet, I'll do that in daylight, I doubt even my battery operated LED lamp would help on something THAT dark!

No gardening today, it was cold and damp out so I stayed in.

I have knitted the back of the sunflower head. Now to sew front and back together.

That's really good - you must feel very pleased. Sewing up dark navy would be as difficult as me sewing new thread on navy canvas.

I am, they sewed up very nicely.

I think yours is actually harder. Thinner thread, small holes...

My little cat played with my knitting last night! Fortunately, she seems more interested in long string than in knitted garment, so the work in progress is undamaged. But I shall have to look out a nice, unimportant and inoffensive ball of something to let her have, I think!

The Child went to sleep early, the Mr wanted to end a stressful work week (for both of us) with some TV time together, so I finished knitting the heel heel flap and did the gusset of my sock since I’m not ready to try to use the spinning wheel while watching TV with him (I watch on my iPad when I’m spinning), it’s much less snuggly.

Oops! Years ago, my mum's puppy chewed up my knitting. Thankfully I was only making a pair of baby bootees and was able to salvage enough of the yarn.

Cats do love to play with such things. I hope you can find something suitable for her.

I can see how spinning wouldn't be conducive to snuggling. Hope you didn't jab your Mr with the knitting needles!
