Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Managed 20 rows on the arm warmers while watching Dancing on Ice. Not a huge amount, but I'm battling a headache so it's enough.

I worked in the yard this morning, have been doing kitchen tasks this afternoon, and am very much looking forward to crocheting a bit now. Seems to be over the cold at last. Just a little slow.

I've started working on my first sleeve and of course stitches keep falling off the double-point needles. I'll go buy the circular needle I'll need for the second sleeve as soon as I can!

Glad you're recovering, just don't overdo things. Relaxing with some crochet after all your hard work sounds like a good plan.

I had an unexpectedly fruitful crafting day... well, early afternoon. I all but finished Page 4 of the girl version of the baby book (save for a single tag that still needs to be done) and selected and cut to the right size all the papers for the boy version. Yay!

Take your time; there is no need to over-extend yourself. And have fun with the crocheting!

Worked some more on the tapestry - got through quite a bit while watching TV and managed to stay awake for long enough to feel like I was making headway - this is mostly because I got up so late having slept most of the morning!
