Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: Which craft that you don't already do would you most like to try?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

I always feel better having done a little bit too.

My hands don't feel up for small work, so I started a dishcloth. I felt like if I didn't take some crafting time I would lose it.

Not doing *any* work on the bathroom remodel today, just chores.

Pinterest still refuses to recognize my .jpg files as such, so I'll have to upload my new, shiny pictures to LJ's scrapbook. Yesterday I've deleted some photos to make more room for the new ones. Should Pinterest recover, I'll re-link the pics again.

So, lo and behold Page 2 of both baby books. First the closed page, then the opened one. The blue is the boy version, the pale pink the girl one. Obviously, as Sherlock would say. *g*

They are almost completely identical, just the colours are different.

Every little bit counts.

Crafting can be very therapeutic. *nodnod*
Besides, dishcloths are useful; and one never has enough of them.

Finished a dress for my frocktails party. A whole lot of fuss trying to get the top to work (it did in the end) but I think the descriptions were not great for it...

Anyway, cowlneck done and dusted, and I'm ready to go for the party tonight!

Thank you! I just wish Pinterest would fix itself before I'd run out of space over at LJ.

Nice! The blue flowers seem to stand out a lot more. Is it the photo?

Yesterday, in the middle of a very exhausting week at work (I've put in 51 hours and I'll be in tomorrow), three of us took time to sit on Teams for half an hour and create. We did crochet, embroidery (me), and paper arts. It was really nice. :)

When Photobucket started charging I switched to using Cloudinary. There's an invite here https://cloudinary.com/invites/lpov9zyyucivvxsnalc5/gehldjv2huy2kvog8np3?t=default if you'd like to use it. Once you sign up for a free account you can make folders as required and host a generous amount of images.

For more random stuff/anon posting for challenges I tend to use https://postimages.org/ which allows you to set no deletion or has options for automatic deletion and unlike Imgur doesn't require signing in.

Thank you, I'll consider it if Pinterest doesn't recover.

No, it's the paper itself. With the pink version, the colour of the flowers doesn't stand out enough - too similar to the background.

Jesus wept, that's hard! You guys definitely needed that little break. And crafting with others is always a delight.
