Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting yet this evening, but I'll be knitting shortly.


Last night, I reached 40 rows on the latest arm warmer so I'm hoping to get at least another 30 rows done tonight. More if I can.

I did finish Page#2 of the songbook, though, and decided to fix the snowflakes on the snowman page with one stitch each, so that they won't come off and suffocate any small children, should the foam stickers prove less self-adhesive than they promise. I did the same with 4 self-adhesive Velcro patches, for the same reason. Perhaps one day I'll be heroic enough to do their counterparts as well.

I'm working on my Rebel Ripple (Ravelry project page here), which is a graduation present for my niece. Alas, I misread the instructions for row 3, and didn't discover it until I was near the end of the row. So I am ripping and redoing.

I'd like to work on my Central Park Hoodie today as well, but my bed is casting Sleep on me... might need a nap.

No further progress on the beach cover-up, but we've been talking to a friend who's coming to visit - we were initially thinking next October, but he thinks this February might be doable, so if I'm going to knit him something, it's got to be quick! The wool I ordered for an infinity scarf arrived today, and I've cast on and done the first three rows. Luckily I've done a few of these and can knit them up pretty quickly, so fingers crossed and knock on wood, I should finish it in time.

I'm making fingerless mitts. I got this multi-colour, handspun yarn at a Christmas exchange a few years ago. I love it, but there's not enough to make something with it. So I pulled some light blue yarn from a different project that is being frogged and am making the mitts two tone.
