More work on the cross stitch! There are four shades of green in the leaf I'm currently stitching, and I've done the first two. I think there are seven shades of green in the whole design, because there's another green leaf, just with different greens from the ones I'm working with at the moment.


Also put more charms onto split rings last night, and a few more this evening, giving me 124. It would have been 125, but the loop at the top of one charm broke off =(


And I desperately want more charms, because I've seen some jellyfish ones, and manta rays, and peacocks, and sloths!

The mere thought of seven shades of green makes my eyes bleed. *g*

I've cut out all the necessary parts for six doughnut keyrings. There were small pieces of felt falling off, out of which I quickly stitched together tiny six-pointed stars. I'll add sequins or small buttons or pearls as central elements later. Also, the leftover felt might serve as the lining of three more mini sewing kits.

So, the current count is:
7 mini purses (might have to make another one to have pairs);
12 mini sewing kits (still in pieces);
6 doughnut keyrings (still in pieces);
2 keyrings with mini lavender pillows;
10 Nisse(r);
4 cherry pit pillows;
1 somewhat larger lavender pillow;
1 Christmas ornament (the 6-pointed-star-turned-into-an-angel one);
6 mini six-pointed stars;
2 small eight-pointed stars (still in pieces).

Further in planning are the doors for the Nisse(r), to be made of popsickles, and Christmas garlands made of tinfoil that I have collected from chocolates. Oh, and the cat-in-a-sack thingies, for which I'll have to turn toilet rolls into small boxes, with the help of Christmas paper. So yeah, I'm looking forward to eventful times.

Green is a very varied colour indeed!

Don't know when I'll get around to making the pendants, the cross stitched birthday card is taking precedence, but when I have time I'm looking forward to playing with all the new beads from the old necklaces I dismantled recently.

They're really cute! I might try to do something similar, although I'm thinking bunnies. Just have to make the ears longer.

But again, I can't print them out so I'll have to freehand draw them. Ah well. A project for when I have more time to fiddle.

I can print them out for you and send the print in a letter. Although they really aren't that difficult to draw - you can take two coins to draw the circles for head and body, and add the other parts on your own.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll go freehand. If I do them myself, I can fiddle with the sizes, maybe make them a bit bigger. Rabbit ears are easy to draw, so that adaptation won't pose too many problems. I also have plans to try making bats... That should be interesting!
