Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Wasn't sure I'd get them done today, because after a wet and stormy night the day dawned sunny and bright so I dragged my bike out and went back to the craft shop for more rub-on transfers. Got another 120 sheets, all the ones I thought I might be able to use, but still left a lot because I have no use for frat party stuff, baseball, US Army... I'm in the UK! Also invitations, wedding designs, and so forth. And clowns, which I'm not a huge fan of so I only had two sheets of each of the two designs.
Got some glitter card as well, which is pretty.

I'm not sure why you passed on those frat stickers! :P

I've done one row on a trivet. Might get more done after dinner but I've also done a lot of digging.

Who knows? I know the owners look like they're retirement age so it might be that, but an awful lot of shops are closing and I wouldn't be surprised if the local council is putting rent and rates up beyond what small businesses can afford during the cost of living crisis. Craft supplies aren't exactly a necessity when people are struggling to pay their bills and put food on the table. I shouldn't be spending what I have, but sometimes it's worth getting things when they're cheap to save money later.

*grins* I don't exactly hold keggers around here, not much call for them in my neighbourhood.

Such a shame your craft shop is closing. I'd probably buy up the whole shop at those prices. You'll be well stocked at least.

It really is. It's not just craft supplies, but art supplies, and they do picture framing. So sad to see them go. I'm doing what I can to buy up as much as I can, lol!
