Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The accordion cards are now finished. They're not exactly what I'd like them to be - I didn't have the best decorative elements, even though I've manufactured quite a few of them myself - but I think the boys will enjoy playing with them. Next up: the gate cards and much procrastinating about how to pretty them up.

Working a little on the 2nd trivet.

I've been putting herbs through the dehydrator the last couple days. Not ones I've grown this time, clearance bundles. Stocked up on basil now.

Thanks. At least gate cards are something I've done before, repeatedly. They are easy. It's just the decoration I have to give lots of thought.

They might be my fall back project for a while. I have quite a lot of this thick wool yarn in my stash and I could stand to free up some space.

Yesterday, I added the next skein of yarn to the drop stitch shawl and knitted a few rows because I know I'm not going to be able to for a few days.

No crafting today. Today, I took a 4 hour road trip to pick up my friend from the airport. I haven't seen her in almost 7 years and she's here for a very short weekend. (Sunday afternoon we are taking her back to the airport.) We've had a lot of fun talking and drinking. And we went out to dinner. Tomorrow, I'm not sure what we're doing, but I hope she's having a good time.
