Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Sleepless night at A & E, so I'm shattered. Been up since 8am yesterday, but couldn't crash when I got home from the hospital because I needed food. Trying to stay up until at least 9pm *props eyelids open* It was an almost totally useless waste of time anyway *sigh*


I have, however, covered more rings for spiders since I've been home. Glutton for punishment, I am.

I made another little purse, with similar results as the previous one. But I also made an absolutely fabulous cake that you can admire in my latest LJ entry. *g*

The Government has made it almost impossible for people who can't afford to go private to get even basic dental care. Most dentists won't even take NHS patients now. I made a post about what I was told over on my journal, but it's friends-locked. If you want to read it feel free to add me even if just temporarily.

Thanks. It wasn't fun. I was there for over 9 hours.

I still have around 180 spiders that need matching to rings. Unfortunately, I think I have quite a few rings that don't match any spiders... Oops.

Yeah, and aside from doing x-rays and telling me the tooth is infected and needs to be removed, they did damn all. You have to jump through hoops to even get a referral for surgical removal under anaesthetic, and even then I'd have to wait at least a YEAR. NHS dentists, even if I could find one, aren't allowed to even sedate patients, and I can't afford the cost of going private. But with my dental phobia and breathing issues, I don't see how I can get a tooth removed from the back of my very small mouth without suffering a nervous breakdown.
