No knitting today, but I did dye another cover-up I have yesterday and it finished drying today. It started out aqua and I thought that might be light enough to take it right to black, but it's gone solidly navy instead. I don't mind navy, though! I know it's not ~done~ but I rather like black and navy, so I'll be going ahead with my plan to dye my swimsuit black (but I'll do a dye remover first this time). And since the cover-up I'm knitting now is white, I don't think I'll have an issue dyeing it black, too. Whee!

I've finished the background to Page 4 and made half a finger puppet when the thread ended. By that time the walls were glowing with heat so I opted for a nap instead of continuing.

I handle it better now than I used to, but then I don't have to rush about doing things when it's hot these days. I can take my time. It isn't hot here though, 16C, wet, and windy.

I finished the circular placemat. It's laundry day, so at least 95F is helpful for that.

Flash-dried... While here I am, it's raining so much I can't do laundry because I have no way to dry it. Anything I hung out would just get wetter.
